The Salvation Army is providing back to school assistance for families and children for the upcoming school year, serving pre-K to 12th grade.
Registration is open from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday through Aug. 7.
Requirements for school supplies include photo identification for all adults in the household; proof of school enrollment, such as report card, letter from school, etc.; school name and grade the child will be entering; and school supply list.
The Salvation Army also seeks donations to help fulfill the need for school supplies.
Donations can be dropped off Friday and Saturday at the Salvation Army Family Store and Social Services Office, 4721 W. Waco Drive, and Walmart, 4320 Franklin Ave, or 600 Hewitt Drive.
